CRPF cop arrested for firing at APSRTC bus conductor
Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, Nov 23 (UNI) A CRPF head constable was arrested for firing at a bus conductor of Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) following an altercation between the two, at Macherla town in Guntur district today.
According to official sources, the CRPF cop Nareshprasad entered the bus depot and picked up a row with the conductor S Krishnamurthy.
Both were in an inebriated condition. The head constable nearly roughed up the conductor. But other RTC employees came to his rescue. However, as he was retreating, the CRPF cop, who was carrying an AK-47 rifle, opened six rounds of fire into air.
