CM inaugurates first women's park in Delhi

New Delhi, Nov 23 (UNI) Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit today inaugurated the city's first ever Women's Park in East Delhi.

The spacious, clean and green Indira Gandhi Park at Trilokpuri, would enable women to walk, relax and do physical exercises in a fully-secure environment.

Ms Dikshit called upon women of the area to help maintain the park.

She also exhorted women to take benefit of the Delhi government's 'Stree Shakti Programme'.

The swings had been installed in the 'women's only' park for the children.

Statues of Indira Gandhi and Mother Teresa had been also installed in the park.
