China economy to create more space for others: Yechuri
New Delhi, Nov 23 (UNI) The CPI(M), the main ally of the UPA government today said China's growing economy will create more space politically, socially as well as economically for others, as space itself is a relative term.
''The growing economy of China will ultimately create the space that both the countries are looking for, as space itself is a relative term,'' CPI(M) polit bureau member Sitaram Yechury told reporters here.
Speaking at the International Conference on ''The Rise of China: Asia and European Perspectives'', Mr Yechuri said both the countries, being the emerging economies of world, would be benefited from the bilateral trade.
He added that the Sino-Indian agreement on nuclear cooperation would be beneficial for the country's nuclear supplies in case of disruption.
India having the expertise in information technology and China with hardware and manufacturing capabilities can together dominate the world market, he said.
Mr Yechuri said the country together with China and Russia will contribute positively in bringing multi-polarity in the world.
India has already associated with Brazil and South Africa. If these countries join hands together with China and Russia, they will certainly contribute in the democratisation of the world, Mr Yechuri said.
He emphasised on creating a more equitable order across world, adding that it would keep the hope of developing countries alive.
On the border question, he said the problem should be settled only through negotiations.
On Arunachal Pradesh, Mr Yechury said there was a dispute on the matter which should be resolved through talks.
