CAG report sent to AP govt
Hyderabad, Nov 23 (UNI) The Report of the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India for the year ended March 31, 2006 containing audit comments and observations on the accounts and transactions pertaining to the activities of the Andhra Pradesh government for the year 2005-06 had been forwarded to the state government today for laying in the state legislature.
In accordance with Article 151 of the Constitution, the CAM of India was required to forward his 'Audit Reports' on the accounts of the state government to the Governor who directs them to be laid on the table of the state legislature, according to an official release here.
