Bordeaux beat Galatasaray 3-1 to reach UEFA Cup
BORDEAUX, France, Nov 22 (Reuters) Girondins Bordeaux today qualified in style for the UEFA Cup last-32 with a 3-1 thrashing of Galatasaray in their Champions League game.
The French side, who were eliminated from Europe's top club competition before kickoff, made sure they would finish third in Group C with goals by Alejandro Alonso, Lilian Laslandes and Julien Faubert.
