Bomb hoax at Surat IT office

Surat, Nov 23 (UNI) A bomb hoax created panic at the Income Tax office here today.

The Income Tax office received an anonymous call this afternoon with the caller claiming that a bomb had been planted in the premises.

A bomb detection squad, assisted by a dog squad, thoroughly searched the permises but no suspicious objects were found.

City police commissioner Sudhir Sinha said that they have traced the number of the telephone from which the call was made.
