BJP MLA injured in road mishap

Hoshiarpur, Nov 23 (UNI) BJP legislature group leader and local MLA Tikshan Sud and two others were injured when their jeep rammed into a round-about on Phagwara bypass here late last night, police today stated.

The others who were injured included Satish Baba of the Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha and driver Avtar Singh.

The injured were admitted at the local Civil Hospital.

According to a medical report, Mr Sud suffered rib fractures.

The BJP leader was returning from Delhi after participating in the Sankalp rally of the party.
