Animal Husbandry Officer arrested while receiving bribe
Patna, November 23(UNI) Sleuths of state Vigilance Bureau today arrested block animal husbandry officer Rajesh Kumar Panjiyar when he was receiving a bribe of Rs 2500 at his official residence in Fatuha.
Additional Director General of Vigilance Bureau Neelmani said Mr Panjiyar had demanded the cash from one Brajkishore Singh, who was selected as secretary of school education committee.
Mr Panjiyar had allegedly threatened Mr Singh to dissolve the committee, making his selection to the post of secretary as null and void if the latter failed to give the money.
Mr Neelmani said Mr Panjiyar was arrested while he was receiving the cash from Mr Singh. The trap was laid after the bureau was informed by Mr Singh in this connection, he added.
