600 litres of liquor seized from village

Jamnagar, Nov 23 (UNI) Police today raided an illicit liquor manufacturing centre in Ranpar village of Bhanvad taluka, 80 km from here, and seized 600 litres of country liquor nad large quantities of raw materials.

Six persons were arrested in this connection Jamnagar police's special operations group (SOG) and the Bhanwad police jointly raided the border village. Those arrested were Latha Rama Rabari (Ranpar), Bhikha Gogan Makwana (from neighbouring Morpar village), Rama Lakshman Samala (Porbandar), Diva Sukha Kodiyatar (Porbandar), Sajan Arjan Rabari (Junagadh) and Devraj Rama Mori(Porbandar).

The police also seized four mobile phones, two vehicles, some equipments and Rs 5,000 in cash. The total value of the seizure was estimared at Rs 3,59,000.
