44 held for immoral trafficking

Pune, Nov 23 (UNI) The city police today arrested 44 persons, 41 of them women, for allegedly operating prostitution rackets under the guise of massage parlours.

In a crackdown on the massage parlours, the police today evening raided eight such parlours located in different parts of the city and the neighbouring townships of Pimpri and Chinchwad.

The 44 persons were arrested and booked for immoral trafficking, police control room sources said. All of them will be produced before the court tomorrow.
