Truck driver dies as his vehicle collides with GSRTC bus

Anand (Guj), Nov 22 (UNI) A truck-driver died on the spot when his truck collided with a state trasnport bus on Sabarmati River Bridge, near Galyania village on Tarapur-Vataaman Highway, late last night.

According to police sources here today, the collison between Gujarat State Road and Transport Coporation (GSRTC) bus and truck took place around 2200 hrs last night when the truck-driver lost control over the steering-wheel due to high-speed.

Police said due to the impact of collision the truck-driver was thrown out of the vehicle and died on the spot.

The deceased was yet to be identified, police said.

Traffic on the busy Tarapur-Vataaman highway was held up for for about six hours due to the accident.
