Three revenue officials suspended in Kashmir
Srinagar, Nov 22 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir government has suspended three revenue officials and ordered an inquiry following complaints against them, an official spokesman said today.
Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama Mehraj Ahmad Kakroo placed three employees of the Revenue department -- Nazir Ahmad Wani, Abdul Rashid Rather and Ghulam Ahmad Sheikh -- under suspension following a complaint lodged by a citizen, he added.
The spokesman said the preliminary inquiry would be conducted by the Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Pulwama.
The suspended officials have been attached with Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Pulwama who has been asked to furnish a detailed report within 15 days, he added.
