Thieves steal 10 kg silver
Anand (Guj), Nov 22 (UNI) Silver ornaments worth Rs 1.5 lakh and cash was stolen today by a gang of thieves from a Jain Temple in Main Bazar, in Karamsad town.
According to police sources, the gang struck between 0200 to 0300 hours this morning when everyone in the temple was fast asleep.
During the preliminary assessment it was found that the gang had decamped with silver ornaments weighing over 10 kg, valued at about Rs 1.5 lakh. They also took away currency notes from the cash box.
