Sub inspector sent to jail

Patna, Nov 22 (UNI) A special court here today remanded a Sub- Inspector of Bihar police to judicial custody in connection with a bribery case till December 5 next.

During the day, accused sub-inspector Astam Paswan was produced before special judge Munilal Paswan by the state vigilance investigation bureau after his arrest from Rupaspur outpost of Danapur police station.

According to the charges, accused sub-inspector was arrested today by vigilance sleauths in Rupaspur outpost when he was accepting a bribe of Rs 1050 from a person Arjun Mistri to submit final report in the court in connection with his case.
