Security forces attacked, two militants arrested in J
Srinagar, Nov 22 (UNI) Militants attacked security forces while two ultras were arrested across Jammu and Kashmir today, an official spokesman said.
Unknown gunmen fired indiscriminately at the joint patrol party of the Jammu and Kashmir police and the Army at Thanala, Bhaderwah in Doda district of Jammu region early this morning.
The fire was retaliated, resulting in a fierce encounter. The gunfight continued for some time, the spokesman said. However, militants managed to escape from the scene without causing any damage, he added A massive hunt has been launched to nab the ultras.
The spokesman said security forces apprehended two militants from Bemina area of the city today and seized one pistol, four magazines and five hand grenades from their possession.
