Prem Bari Underpass dedicated to Delhiites
New Delhi, Nov 22 (UNI) State Tourism Minister Arvinder Singh Lovely today dedicated the Prembari Underpass in West Delhi to the citizens of the city.
The project, costing Rs 3,185 lakh, had been completed before its scheduled time.
It was initially thought to provide a grade separator at this busy intersection on the Ring Road but it was later found that an underpass would be the most suitable option.
Mr Lovely said the underpass was aesthetically designed. Its walls had been finished with machine made bricks and ceramic tiles with sports graphics. The area had been beautifully land-scaped and steel pipes structures and tensils fabric membrane at entry/exit of underpass had also enhanced its appearance.
MP Sajjan Kumar, MLA A K Bhardwaj and Delhi Tourism CMD Sanat Kaul were present on the occasion.
