No difference of opinion in Mr Sadananda Gowda's continuation:Yedi

Bangalore, Nov 22 (UNI) Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister and Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader B S Yediyurappa today denied there exist any difference of opinion in the present State President D V Sadanada Gowda continuing for the second term.

Stating that Mr Gowda would continue for second term as State unit Chief, Mr Yediyurappa said that entire State unit and party National General Secretary Ananth Kumar, MP supporting his (Mr Gowda) continuation.

Mr Yediyurappa was speaking at 'Meet the Press' organised by the Bangalore Press Club here.

Replying to a question, he said that Mr Ananth Kumar never tried to become State President and there were no serious differences remained between him and Mr Ananth Kumar on the issue. "The party's rank and file stood together and there were no any differences within the party on any issues" he added.

He said that the organisational elections in the State have been completed smoothly and unanimous election of 26 District Presidents has shown that there were no difference of opinion in the party.

"Mr Ananth Kumar himself would announce the name of Mr Sadananda Gowda as the next state party chief shortly" he added.
