NE Book Fair in March next year

Guwahati, Nov 22 (UNI) The next edition of the North East Book Fair would be held from March 23 to April 3 next year at the Engineering Institute grounds here.

This was informed by president of the All Assam Textbook Publishers and Sellers Association Surjya Hazarika at a press meet here today.

The Association organizes the annual event.

He informed that the Frankfurt model would be emulated and copyrights of old and newly published books would be up for sell.

Mr Hazarika said Asom would be the theme state for the book fair.

Translation works from Assamese to other languages would be specially highlighted, he added.
