Kerala to face Vidarbha tomorrow in Ranji

Palakkad, Nov 22 (UNI) Sreekumaran Nair led Kerala will begin their Ranji trophy campaign tomorrow at Fort Maidan ground here against Vidarbha.

The Vidarbha team is led by Harshal Shitoot.

Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) Secretary T C Mathew said the pitch was likely to favour fast bowlers.

Kerala will field two guest players from Chennai - Test discard Sadagopan Ramesh and former TN Ranji captain S Suresh.

On a specific question, Mr Mathew said senior players Ajay Kuduva and Sunil Oasis had retired from first class cricket on their own and there was no pressure from the Association.
