Julio Riberio to inagurate Free guidance cell on RTI

Mumbai, Nov 22 (UNI) In an attempt to mobilise public opinion and to raise awareness towards creating more transparent and efficient government, Public Concern for Governance Trust (PCGT) and Mumbai Sarvodaya Mandal are jointly opening a free cell on Right to Information (RTI) at Nana Chowk in South Mumbai.

PCGT executive and former Mumbai police commissioner Julio Riberio will inagurate the RTI centre at Gandhi Book Centre, Nana Chowk in the evening.

The RTI centre will remain open on every Saturday from 1700 hrs to 1900 hrs, a release said.

The centre will assist the people in filling up the application forms under RTI Act 2005. Court Fee Stamps of Rs 10 will also be provided, which is required to be fixed on the application forms, it added.
