Jaya rules out extending any support to UPA Govt

Chennai, Nov 22 (UNI) AIADMK General Secretary J Jayalalithaa today ruled out any kind of support to the UPA Government at the Centre ''as long as the DMK remained in it.'' ''There is no question of extending support to the Centre as long as it danced to the tune of Chief Minister and DMK President M Karunanidhi. This is AIADMK's firm stand,'' she said in a statement here.

Refuting reports in a section of the media quoting AIADMK's Rajya Sabha Whip K Malaisamy that the AIADMK would extend ''issue-based support to the Centre,'' Ms Jayalalithaa said ''I categorically deny it.'' Mr Malaisamy had not made any such statement and the media had misreported, she said.
