Four fishermen reported missing off Rameswaram coast

Rameswaram, Nov 22 (UNI) Four fishermen were reported missing off Rameswaram coast since last evening.

Police said, the fishermen Saghayam (37), Sivakumar (40), Prabhu (35) and Antony (25) had ventured into the sea on Monday morning and were scheduled to return by Tuesday evening.

But till this morning, they failed to return and there was no information about them.

Both police and fisheries department have ordered for a search to trace the missing fishermen, police added.
