Five Indian Navy warships take part in exercise

Visakhapatnam, Nov 22 (UNI) Five warships of Indian Navy today took part in a five-hour long exercise organised as part of the ongoing Navy Week Celebrations here.

The exercise comprised search, rescue and relief operations, surface to surface missile firing, anti-aircraft and anti-submarine rocket firing.

Firing of surface to surface missiles and close-range firing of anti-aircraft guns and anti-submarine rockets was demonstrated with high precision by the highly skilled navy cadets of the Eastern Naval Command.

The warships, which took part in the exercise were 'INS Ranjit', 'INS Rana', 'INS Kirch', 'INS Kulish' and supply vessel 'INS Jyoti'.
