Exhibition on Israel's archaeological heritage from tomorrow
Bhopal, Nov 22 (UNI) An exhibition showcasing archaeological heritage of Israel will be opened up at the Madhya Pradesh Archaeology Museum at Shyamla Hills in the state capital on November 23.
Minister of State for Culture Laxmikant Sharma will inaugurate the exhibition. Israeli Ambassador David Deniali will be present on the occasion, an official release said here today.
The exhibition, to be organised with the cooperation of the Bhopal State Museum, will contain pictures and photographs of most important and interesting places of archaeological value in Israel.
Birthplace of Christianity and Judaism, Israel also has a rich literary heritage related to Muslim community, remains of ancient times, religious monuments and fields of war.
The archaeologists from across the world visit Israel to study its historical importance.
The exhibition will remain open from 1000 hrs to 1700 hrs till December 3, the release added.
