Egyptian government refuses visa to MMA chief
Islamabad, Nov 21 (UNI) The Egyptian Government has refused visa to President Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) Qazi Hussain Ahmad, who is also the chief of the rightwing Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan.
He was invited by World Assembly of Muslim Youth as chief guest in a youth conference scheduled in Egyptian capital Cairo in the second week of November.
The Nation newspaper quoted Mr Ahmad as condemning the Cairo decision and called it service to enemy aimed at disintegrating and dividing the Muslim Ummah.
''The colonial rulers introduced borders to distance Muslims from each other and now the visa restrictions are depriving the Muslims from its real force,''he said.
The body fabric of Muslim world, he believed, was exposed to disintegration due to policies of the Egyptian government.
