Dehradun experiences drizzling, temperature dips

Dehradun, Nov 22 (UNI) The Uttaranchal capital experiences dip in temperature due to snow fall in several hilly areas today.

'' The mercury went down by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius with minimum temperature recorded 13 degrees and maximum 16 degrees Celsius,'' said Director Weather Department Anand Sharma.

He said that Westerly disturbances has resulted in continues drizzling here since morning and the disturbance is likely to reach Kumaon region which could experience drop in the temperature.

He informed that snowfall was experienced in Kedarnath, Badrinath and higher ranges of Uttarkashi. He predicted that the Capital Dehradun might enjoy light sunshine however by night temperature might dip by 3 to 4 degree Celsius.
