Cummins unveils Quantum Series engines at IMME

Chennai, Nov 22 (UNI) Cummins India today unveiled the Quantum Series engines at IMME 2006, developed specially for mining applications.

These engines, including the QSK78, QSK60, QST30, QSK23 and QSM11 come with the promise of 'Cummins dependability' and its commitment to ensure high value proposition, a company release said here today.

The Quantum Series are electronic engines with data monitoring and management systems that provide highly productive power for equipment on the World's most demanding work sites. They are also wholly compliant with future emission norms.

Industrial Engine Business Unit, Vice President Vikram Jaisinghani said "Cummins is the technology leader for engines in the mining sector and we are happy to bring to India engines that have proved themselves in mines across World".
