Court rejects bail plea of SP leader

Siddharthnagar, Nov 22 (UNI) A local court has rejected the bail petition of a Samajwadi Party leader currently lodged in the district jail here.

President of Sant Kabirnagar district unit of SP Ram Vriksha Yadav had moved a bail petition before District Judge Shyam Shanker Tiwari.

The judge, however, rejected his plea.

On August 25 last year during the Panchayat elections, Ram Vriksha allegedly killed Mahatam Yadav over a dispute under Ghanghata police station area.
