Congress trying to topple the Coalition govt: Yediyurappa

Bangalore, Nov 22 (UNI) The Opposition Congress was trying to topple the Janata Dal (Secular)-led coalition government but its ''evil-designs'' would not work, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leade B S Yediyurappa said today.

''Right from the beginning, the Congress has been trying to pull down the JDS-BJP government in Karnataka by making false allegations. They will not succeed in their mission and the Karnataka Development Front (KDF) government will complete its full term,'' he asserted.

Speaking at the ''Meet the Press' programme, organised by the Bangalore Press Club here, the Deputy Chief Minister expressed confidence that he would assume charge as the next Chief Minister after the incumbent, Mr H D Kumaraswamy, completed 20 months in office as per the power-sharing agreement between the two parties.
