Cold weather claims 3 lives in UP

Lucknow, Nov 22 (UNI) Even as Uttar Pradesh experiences downfall in mercury, at least three people died of cold weather in the last 24 hrs.

However, the weather remained dry in most parts of UP.

Meanwhile, Gorakhpur was the coldest place recording 12.8 celsius temperature.

According to the weather department, rainfall accompanied by thundershowers might occur at a few places in the next 24 hrs.

A report from Bareilly today said at least two persons died of cold yesterday.

Besides, a farmer Lal Diman also died of cold under Panvadi police station area in Mahoba district last night, a report today said.
