Auto-Lifters gang busted, 3 arrested

Allahabad, Nov 22 (UNI) The police has busted a gang of auto-lifters with the arrest of three of them.

The police during its routine checking saw three youths and when it asked them to stop they started running. The police chased them and arrested them near Sarpatiya crossing.

During interrogation, the youths admitted that they were auto-lifters and after their disclosure police recovered seven motor cycles from a shop.

Two countrymade pistols and live cartridges were also recovered from their possession. All of them are residents of Allahabad.
