Bangalore, Nov 22 (UNI) In a move signalling the maturity and tremendous traction of the Indian job market, Recruit.net, Asia's leading job search engine, today announced that it is launching Recruit.net India, an India-specific job search engine.

Recruit.net comes to India after tasting success in China, Japan, Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore markets, the company said in a release here.

Recruit.Net would enter India through its wholly-owned subsidiary and invest directly in setting up offices in India. Currently, over two million jobs across Asia were listed in Recruit.Net, encompassing most of the hot Asian job markets of which 200,000 jobs were from India.

''With the explosion in jobs and job portals, India is in dire need of consolidation to enable the job seeker to get to his dream job in one click. Currently, he has to wade through multiple portals or destinations. The consolidation offers a powerful benefit for employers as the probability of the right candidate looking at their requirements is higher. We are truly excited by the Indian market, which is witnessing unprecedented robustness on the job market front and look forward to building on the initial overwhelming response to our trial run here,'' company Founder Maneck Mohan said.

The release said Recruit.net India had been well received in India within a short span of one month by jobseekers. The jobseekers include those interested in positions with top companies in Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong, in addition to the local market.
