Annual summit on E commerce on Nov 30
Mumbai, Nov 22 (UNI) Internet And Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) is organizing its annual Summit on e-commerce on November 30, here.
The IAMAI release said the top Indian entrepreneurs will discuss the next growth phase of the Internet and e-commerce business in the summit.
The Summit aims at providing an overview of the current e-commerce industry and the factors that will drive the next round of growth.
It will also address queries of those who need a little nudge to get on board the booming e-commerce business.
Meanwhile, the IAMAI's conservative estimate indicated that the Business to Consumer (B2C) of e-commerce industry is set to touch Rs 2,300 crores by March 2007.
Dr Subho Ray, President IAMAI in a statement said,''the figure Rs 2300 crore is just a conservative estimate. But this is just the tip of e-Business in India.'' ''If we were to include the less visible business to business (B2B) segment as well as the e-commerce initiatives of many brick and mortar companies, the figure would be much much larger'', he added.
