L K Advani calls on Chinese President Hu Jintao

New Delhi, Nov 22: Leader of the Opposition L K Advani called on Chinese President Hu Jintao here today and discussed bilateral relations.

The meeting lasted about half an hour.

It was not known whether Mr Advani raised the issue of Chinese claims on Arunachal Pradesh.

Before President Hu's arrival, the BJP had announced that it would plodge a protest against Chinese Ambassador Sun Yuxi's recent statement about Chinese claims on Arunachal Pradesh.
