56 people given jobs on compassionate grounds in Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 22 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir government has appointed 56 people in various departments on compassionate grounds, an official spokesman said today.

He said Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar Aijaz Iqbal distributed appointment orders to 56 people from Srinagar district under SRO 43.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Iqbal said efforts were on to process the remaining such cases pending with various departments and agencies.
