Three vehicles used unauthorisadely seized

Mysore, Nov 21 (UNI) The police today seized three vehicles used unauthorisdly during campaign to the December four by election to Chamundeswari Assembly seat.

Deputy Commissioner S Selva Kumar, who is also District Election Officer, told UNI that the vehicles were used by political parties without permission and as per instructions from the Election Observer J Raymond Peter.

The authorities have also booked cases, as per Election Commission Observer, against candidates and parties under public Premises Disfigurement Act at various places in both City Corporation and some Taluka Panchayat limits.

State Chief Electoral Officer Ramashesh today visited the City and took stock of the situation of the election process and held a meeting with various officials.
