3 more arrests made in Anant kidnapping case
Noida, Nov 21: In another breakthrough in the Anant kidnapping case, police today arrested three people, including a woman, for providing shelter to the kidnappers while they were demanding ransom.
Gautam Buddha Nagar SSP R S Ratore said the three people arrested, Santosh, her husband Veer Singh, residents of Mathura district's Nehroli village, and Sunil from Eta, were arrested after main accused Dev alias Chhatrapal Singh provided the information.
Chhatrapal Singh after his arrest on Sunday had told a packed news conference that he and his accomplice, Pawan, had taken the three-year-old boy to Sunil's home in Eta and then moved him to his paternal aunty's house in Nehroli village.
Dr Rathore said they were arrested from their homes and search is still on for Pawan.
Meanwhile, a city court has remanded Chhatrapal Singh in 14-day judicial custody.
