Temporary government status employees stage dharna

Puducherry, Nov 21 (UNI) Members of the Ozhukarai Municipality temporary government status employees association today organised a novel agitation in front of the Local Administration Department here to press their demands.

The employees who organised a dharna in front of the office rang bells and blew conch to drag the attention of the government to their cause.

They were demanding among other things the regularisation of the service of those who had obtained temporary government employees status, provision of time bound promotion and risk allowance.
