Six policemen injured in clash

Ara, Nov 21 (UNI) Altogether six policemen, including a Deputy Police Superintendent, were injured in a clash between rival political groups at Padminia village under Krishnagarh police station in Bhojpur district today.

Police said supporters of JD(U) MLA of Barhara Assembly constituency Asha Devi and former RJD MLA of the area Raghvendra Pratap Singh clashed over petty issue during a function organised in connection with the Prime Minister's Rural Road Construction scheme.

Besides, Dy SP S Z Rahman, five policemen and 12 supporters sustained injuries in the incident, police added.
