Seven hard core militants nabbed

Imphal, Nov 21 (UNI) Manipur police today informed that about seven hardcore militants of two outfits were arrested in separate incidents during the past 24 hours.

The Assam Rifles PRO said troops of 13 Assam Rifles apprehended six Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL) cadres, based on specific informations.

One Chinese 9 mm pistol with two live rounds, two live rounds of 7.62 mm and incriminating documents were recovered from their possession, the PRO added.

Meanwhile, troops of 19 Assam Rifles apprehended one KTU (Kuki Tribals Union) cadre and recovered one SBML Rifle and letter head of KTU were recovered from them, sources said.
