Nagpur, Nov 21 (UNI) A 38-year-old man, who separated from his family during a riot here over three decades ago, has moved the Bombay High Court to help him trace his biological parents.

Sarvesh Kumar, alias Nitin, was only three when a policeman found him loitering alone and took him to a local orphanage. Sarvesh made several attempts after that to locate his parents, but in vain.

He has now moved the Nagpur Bench of the Bombay High Court in his endeavour to locate them.

His efforts to get information about his mother and father from the authorities and the police failed to yield fruits, Sarvesh said in his petition.

A Division Bench comprising Justice Kishore Rohee and Justice C L Pangarkar issued notice to the orphanage, where Sarvesh was brought, and sought its reply by December 11.
