NE monsoon active in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 21 (UNI) North East Monsoon was active over Kerala and rains and thundershowers occurred at isolated places in Lakshwadeep.

Koilandi recorded the highest rainfall of six cm followed by Alwaye and Perumbavur - five cm each, the Local Met office said here today.

It said four cm rain was received at Wadakara and it was three cm at Kannur and CIL, Kochi.

The Met office also warned of isloted rains in Kerala and Lakshwadeep in the next 24 hrs.
