Karkala recordS 8 cm rain

Bangalore, Nov 21 (UNI) Following is the summary of observations recorded in Weather office here at 0830 hrs today.

Rainfall occurred at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and at isolated places over South Interior Karnataka. Dry weather prevailed over North Interior Karnataka Karkala recorded heavy rainfall of 8 cm. Kundapur, Udupi 6 each, Mangalore AP 5, Sulya, Mangalore 4 each, Panambur 3, Belthangadi, Bhatkal, Hallimysore 1 each.

Minimum temperatures fell at many places over South Interior Karnataka and at a few places over Coastal Karnataka however, rose at a few places over North Interior Karnataka. They were appreciably above normal at many places over Coastal Karnataka; above normal at many places being appreciably so at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and above normal few places over South Interior Karnataka.

Bijapur recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 17 degree celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Thursday Morning: Mainly dry weather may prevail over the State.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Mainly dry weather may prevail over all the districts of the State.

Local forecast for Bangalore city: Partly cloudy. Minimum temperature would be around 18 degree celsius.
