Junior Badminton Nationals begins tomorrow at Panchkula

Panchkula, Nov 21 (UNI) Nearly 250 young shuttlers from accross the country will compete in the 31st National Junior Championship beginning here tommorow.

The meet will begin with the individual events, while the team championship will start on November 24.

Qualifying matches for individual events are scheduled on November 22 and 23.

DLF, YES Bank, Hero Honda, IFFCO, Canara Bank, Indian Bank and Pallavi Hotel are the main sponsors of the championship, Haryana Badminton Association president Devender Singh told reporters here today.

Former badminton ace Prakash Padukone would be the guest of hounour at the prize distribution functiopn on November 30, he said.
