New Delhi, Nov 21 (UNI) India's top-ranked woman amateur golfer Irina Brar has turned pro and will be looking to finish in the top-four of the Order of Merit for a place in the co-sanctioned inaugral Women's Indian Open next year.

The first ever Women's Indian Open will be played at the DLF Golf and Country Club from March 12 to 16.

Vying with some of her fellow competitors for a coveted place on the women's professional team, Irina will only be able to play in the 1,00,000 dollar event if she comes in the top four spots of the Order of merit for the current season.

Two legs of the circuit are already over and Irina will have to be in top form to win. This would give her substantial points to be in the top four places. The third leg will be held at the Golden Greens golf club, Haryana from the November 28 to 30.
