India to share expertise with Brunei in Telecom
New Delhi, Nov 21 (UNI) The government today said India is ready to share its expertise with Brunei Darussalam in the field of Information Communication Technology (ICT).
The Brunei and Indian companies could work together for ventures in the fields of e-governance, IT education, IT Park and cyber security for protection of the critical information infrastructure.
Minister of State for Communications Shakeel Ahmad said, while holding talks with the visiting delegation led by Mr Pehin Abu Baker Apong, Minister of Communication, Brunei Darussalam.
The Brunei Darussalam Minister, Mr Apong, informed that his Government has set apart one billion dollars for e-governance programme.
He welcomed the participation of Indian Government to the e-governance programmes, e-learning etc. He further said that India could help Brunei in implementing the 200 identified e-governance projects.
