Idols from TN for Switzerland temple

Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, Nov 21 (UNI) As many as 21 panchaloha idols made by the Sri Devasenapathi Art Centre at Swamimalai near Kumbakonam will be sent to St Gallen in Switzerland for installation at Sri Kadhir Velayuthaswamy Temple where 'kumbabishekam' will be performed on January 28 next.

According to the Art Centre sources, the idols of Ganesh, Sri Subramania Swamy and his consorts Valli and Devayani, Sri Arumugar and 'Navagrahas' made in ancient Chola style will adorn the temple being built by the Tamils settled in St Gallen.

The Art Centre enjoys a very high reputation across the world and had shipped its works to various countries.
