Headmaster held while accepting bribe from teacher

Aurangabad, Maharasthra, Nov 21 (UNI) The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths today caught in-charge headmaster of the Primary School at Undangaon in Sillod tehsil of the district red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 300 from a teacher, attached to the primary school at the nearby Vasai village.

ACB sources said, the headmaster, Santosh Vitthal Tayade, had demanded a bribe of Rs 300 from a primary teacher for making entries in his service book, which was with the headmaster.

The teacher filed a compalaint with the ACB. Acting on the complaint, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DYSP-ACB) Pravin Kulkarni laid a trap and caught the head master red-handed while accepting the amount, sources said.

An offence has been registered against Tayade with the Ajantha police station, sources added.
