Dubai World inks MoU with Tata Group

Dubai, Nov 21: The Excellence Center (TEC), a corporate department of Dubai World, has signed an MoU with Tata Strategic Management Group (TSMG) for collaboration in areas of mutual strategic interests and for outsourcing consulting services.

Mr Abdul Qader Obaid Ali, Director, Group Internal Audit and Quality, Dubai World, said, ''The MoU will help Dubai World in global expansion and diversification.'' This MoU came after considering that both TEC and TSMG have similar history of development, and TSMG has faced the same challenges successfully that TEC is now facing, he added.

''This MoU will pave way for increased collaboration in the areas of mutual strategic interests. Both parties expect it to yield substantial benefits in the immediate and the long-term future,'' Khaleej Times quoted TSMG Chief Executive Officer R R Bhinge as saying.

TSMG, a member of the Tata Group, is recognised for its role in Tata's diversification and global expansion.
