Dileep Prbhavalkar selected for 'Natsamrat Balgandharv' award

Sangli, Maharashtra, Nov 21 (UNI) Veteran actor Dileep Prabhavalkar has been selected for this year's 'Natsamrat Balgandharv' award, instituted by Balgandharv Smarak Samiti, Nagthane, of this district.

Announcing this at a press conference here today, Smark Samiti president Vishwajit Kadam said that Marathi film and stage actress Kavita Lad has also been selected for 'Yuva Balgandharv' award.

Prabhavalkar and Lad will be honoured with the respective awards at a function to be organised at Nagthane, on November 26, at the hands of renowned actor of Hindi movies Anupam Kher, Mr Kadam said.

The function will be presided by Maharashtra Cooperation minister Patangrao Kadam, he added.
